Acudetox: A Different Kind of Happy Hour

Tues, Wed & Thurs 5/4 – 6/16
5-6:15pm

Fridays 5/27 – 6/17
7-8:15pm

ACUDETOX is a 5 point ear acupuncture technique that is designed to help us break up stuck tensions in our bodies which can help us to be less grasp-y, which can open space for some of our addictions to fall away. Participants have reported not only a reduction in the stress that they are carrying but also an increased tolerance towards future stressors.

It is typically delivered in a group setting. For A Different Kind of Happy Hour, each participant will receive 5 pins in each ear. We will chill together for about 30 minutes to allow them to do their work. Afterwards we’ll have time to drink tea, socialize, and connect.

The archetypes of the tarot have been useful for centuries: exploring not only the future, but also what we wrestle with in the present. This workshop will utilize creative writing and the tarot to explore our psyche. Often the images portrayed tug at hidden truths within us and give us direction we might not have intuited otherwise.

Mantra Practice

Friday, May 19
7:00-7:45pm

Ayurvedic Self Massage Workshop

Wednesday, June 1
10am-12:30pm

Touch is such an important part of our physical and mental state that benefits our sleep, mood, reducing pain and stress, as well as helping aid in growth of hair.

A lot of time we don’t slow down enough to allow our body and mind to connect in such an intimate way.

Using this time to relax, love on the body, and go inward during an intuitive self-massage workshop where we will learn about Ayurvedic body oils, pressure points, neglected areas of the body, learning to listen to what is calling and resting into restorative poses. Sitting on our towels and yoga mats, we will massage our bodies from the head, down. Laying in a few restorative poses then washing off our oil.

Please wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. The less and/or looser, the better. Yoga mat. A towel that you can get dirty. Bring 1-2 washcloths that will get oil on them. Hair could (should) get oily but if you prefer not, please bring hair tie/clip. Hairbrush also might not be a bad idea. Bring a mug for tea and some water.

Facilitator: Molly Ren

Creative Journaling for Healing

Thursday, June 2
6:30-7:30pm

Lisa Blake, local author and writer, will facilitate a workshop to hold space, do a little mindful journaling and release thoughts, feelings and energy that no longer serve us.

The premise behind Creative Journaling for Healing: Journaling helps us become aware of our thoughts and feelings. It allows us to recognize and release negative thoughts and to really feel and address where they’re coming from. When we’re impacted by stressors or traumas, we tend to hold our voices IN for protection. When we write, we can find OUTward expression for the hard emotions that we sometimes bury to protect ourselves. We can also find our own authentic truth by unpacking those hard emotions. When we do this, it strengthens us. Reengages us. And ultimately, helps us hear our voice and tap into our power.

Own Your Platform & Create Connection in 2022

Wednesday, June 15
6:30-8:00pm

If you’re a small business owner, especially in the wellness space, you’re probably trying to balance updating websites and juggling social media accounts, along with actually running the business you love.

Newsletters are one of the most powerful yet overlooked opportunities to expand your reach. Learn how crafting a simple and easy-to-execute newsletter strategy can help you take back your time from the social media black hole, escape the algorithm, and build authentic engagement with your customers and prospects.

In this workshop, local digital communications consultant Holly Wielkoszewski will lead you through a results-oriented workshop, and you’ll walk away with a plan to create or enhance your newsletter strategy in a way that feels exciting and achievable.

In this 90 minute workshop, we’ll explore:

  • Why email is still important (and maybe even more important than social media!)
  • How to choose a platform
  • Legal & security things you should know
  • How to help your messages get to the Inbox (and the statistics that matter for success)
  • The four emails you need to have

Then, we’ll spend some time workshopping. We’ll dig into what a lead magnet is, and you’ll spend some time (with my support!) brainstorming your own lead magnet (or a new, updated, shiny 2022 version) to bring more people into your community and increase the impact of your communications. You’ll walk away ready to share your lead magnet with the world.

Please bring a notebook and pen to use for brainstorming and our workshop! (You can bring a laptop, if you prefer, but analog works, too.) Holly will share a handout to take home with key points and reminders from the workshop.

This workshop is designed for entrepreneurs, coaches, yoga teachers, realtors, brick & mortar shops—anyone who has a business based on selling a service or a product and connecting with a digital community.
